Early Years, Elementary, and Middle School Classes 5 Days a Week Starting November 10
Logos is excited to welcome back all Early Years, Elementary, and Middle School students 5 days a week. Beginning next Tuesday, November 10, Logos students in Grades PK3 through Grade 8 may attend classes at Logos every day, Monday through Friday.
The Ministry of Education has allowed us to increase class sizes to 25 students per classroom. Logos will continue to adhere to strict COVID safety procedures, including social distancing, temperature checks, mask requirements, and frequent cleaning and sanitation.
High School to Remain on A & B-Day Schedule until January
Due to larger class sizes, more complicated scheduling, lack of space, and greater access to independent online learning, Logos High School students in Grades 9 through 12 will continue with their current A & B-Day schedule through the end of the semester in December.
We plan to make some adjustments to classrooms and scheduling between semesters. If the situation in Cambodia remains stable, we anticipate welcoming all High School students back on campus 5 days a week when our second semester begins in January. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to ensure that Logos is a healthy and safe learning environment for all students.

Flu Vaccinations at Logos November 12 & 14
Flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year. The symptoms of Flu can be similar to COVID-19, so this year health care providers around the world are encouraging prompt Flu Vaccinations.
The Bmed Medical Service Clinic is working with Logos International School to provide the annual Flu Vaccine to children at school. This vaccine will protect against all three influenza strains that are expected to circulate this year. We will hold vaccination clinics at Logos on November 12 and 14 starting at 8:30 am. The cost of this Vaxigrip trivalent 2020 Influenza vaccine is $19/injection.
More information and permission forms will be sent home with students later this week. If you wish for your child to be vaccinated, please complete this sign-up form, and we will contact you with more information.
Dress down Fundraiser for William Chamroeun
Former Logos graduate William Chamroeoun (Class of 2017) is battling his liver cancer’s aggressive return. Logos would like to help support this Logos Alumni by hosting a Paid Dressdown Day Fundraiser to help with his medical bills. Students and teachers may opt not to wear their student uniforms on Thursday, November 12, and Friday, November 13, if they provide at least a 2,000 Riel donation. Students should still follow the Dress Down Day Dress Code. We will also have a donation box in the office if anyone would like to contribute more to support William and his family.
A Note from School Nurse
The peak of the cold and flu season is upon us. To prevent widespread flu in school, we recommend that your child stay home from school if experiencing flu or cold symptoms. To decide whether or not to send your child to school, please consider the following guidelines:
Consider keeping your child at home for an extra day of rest and observation if he or she has any of the following symptoms:
- Very stuffy or runny nose and/or cough
- Headache
- Mild sore throat (no fever, no known exposure to strep)
- Mild stomach ache
Definitely keep your child at home for treatment and observation if he or she has any of these symptoms:
- Fever (greater than 37.5 degrees)
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting (even once)
- Frequent congested (wet) or croupy cough
- Chills
- General malaise or feelings of fatigue, discomfort, weakness, or muscle aches
- Lots of nasal congestion with frequent blowing of the nose
To help prevent the flu and other colds, teach your children good hygiene habits:
- Wash hands frequently
- Do not touch eyes, nose, or mouth
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Cover mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing, use a paper tissue, throw it away and then wash hands
